Annual Seafood Conference Iceland to be held November 19. – 20. 2015. The idea behind the Seafood Conference is to create a platform for all who are part of the seafood industry in Iceland to meet. It includes those who are active in harvesting, farming, primary processing, further processing, marketing and sales, services and research and development as well as the public sphere, teachers and students, media and other interested parties.
The annual meeting of the Seafood Conference Iceland elects a board which consists of 6 persons who also functions as the conference board. Rannveig Björnsdóttir, Research Group Leader, is a Matís representative in the board.
Matis introduces technical solutions and cooperative projects at the conference. Birgir Örn Smárason, Ph.D. student at Matís introduces his study on Life Cycle Assessment in transportation.
