Nova Scotia‘s Minister of Fisheries & Aquaculture and Minister of Agriculture, the honorable Keith Colwell, visited Iceland last week. He took the opportunity to meet with Iceland’s Prime Minister, Sigurður Ingi Jóhannsson, Iceland’s Minister of Fisheries and Agriculture, Gunnar Bragi Sveinsson, Ambassador of Canada in Iceland, Stewart Wheeler and Matís’ CEO, Sveinn Margeirsson, among others.
This is not the first visit of Mr. Colwell as he was at Matís’ headquarters 18 months ago when Perennia Food and Agriculture Inc. and Matís signed an agreement to support the innovative and progressive growth of Nova Scotia’s bio-economy especially food, seafood and agriculture sector.
